There’s no perfect formula. But here are things to look for.

How many months are you holding? What’s your average hold time? I get these questions a lot and they’re all fantastic questions. I wish there was a straight answer.

This is one of those instances where I say I don’t know because I don’t want to pretend or make up numbers just to give an answer. Every product is different. Every situation is different.

But what I can do is break down exactly what I’m looking for and some lessons I’ve learned over the years. There are a lot of factors and variables that come into play when it comes to buying and holding discontinued products.
